LEMCO 20 Clubs
Motorcycle dealers have unique challenges and opportunities. Involvement in a Lemco 20 Club gives you the advantage of comparing dealership operations with your peers. You receive input from your moderator and your peers, glean new ideas, investigate best practices and find solutions to management problems.
All discussions are based on salient numbers – not just opinion or hype. Is a particular practice working? If not, how do we fix it? We answer these questions by examining the numbers.
What numbers, exactly?
Monthly Lemco Composite: This is a management report, with the first page broken down by department so that you can assess each department’s contribution. The second page is an operational overview of the whole dealership.
Weekly Lemco Tracking: Each department manager submits their input revolving around a few metrics that they can control. They get consistent, accurate feedback every week, plus a month-end report.
What else do I receive in a Lemco 20 Club?
Monthly Conference Calls: These group calls are an opportunity to touch base, hear the latest and greatest, and solve any immediate problems. They last about 45 minutes to an hour. Besides keeping everyone connected, they greatly reduce the amount of time spent at meetings dealing with “old business”. We can launch right into the most current issues.
Two Central Meetings per Year: Usually two days in a hub city (Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago or Denver), the meetings start with a “state of the industry” general session, then we dig into the Composite for individual dealership reviews. This is your “time in the barrel”. We stay focused on encouraging the positive results and finding solutions where improvement is needed.
One Dealership Visitation Meeting per Year: Some groups’ members choose to have a 3rd meeting every year in conjunction with a dealership visitation. Depending on the group size and venue, these meetings take about 2 ½ – 3 days.
MICS Lemco Blog: As a part of this website, we have a blog open to all clients to share ideas, ask questions and vent (appropriately!). You can interact with us and your dealer associates who are also process driven and profit oriented.
Your monthly membership includes everything above and entitles you to discounts on video memberships and other MICS Lemco offerings. Membership is month-to-month – there is no obligation to contract for a set amount of time.
